Dont Waste Your Time Beach Hunting...

We have a list of the BEST Beaches on Anna Maria Island RIGHT HERE!

Coquina Beach - Located on the South End of Anna Maria Island, Coquina Beach is one of the largest beaches in the area with plenty of amenities. The setting is perfect for your wedding, and there's plenty of space for larger wedding parties. There's plenty of free parking and the area is surrounded by great places to accommodate your wedding party and guests.

Cortez Beach - Cortez Beach is located in Bradenton Beach just north of Coquina Beach. Along with Coquina Beach, it stretches miles along the Gulf of Mexico and is one of the nicest beaches on Anna Maria Island. Many happy couples have said their vows on Cortez Beach.

Bradenton Beach - A very popular wedding destination, Bradenton Beach occupies the southernmost side of Anna Maria Island. Also an Island Favorite, Bradenton Beach offers amazing views and tropical trees perfect to feature in your wedding album.

Manatee Beach - Manatee Beach is the busiest on Anna Maria Island - and there's a reason. This is a great beach to explore, but can be a little busy for your wedding. Just like other white sandy beaches on the Island, the views are outstanding!

Holmes Beach - Another favorite spot for Anna Maria Island weddings, Holmes Beach is a quite white sandy beach located in the residential area. There are no facilities to get in your way and you can easily find the best spot for your wedding - even on a busy weekend.

Anna Maria Beach - The sunsets on Anna Maria Beach are fantastic - maybe even the best on the Island! The beach has no facilities, and is a great place to get a feel of what Anna Maria Island was like many years ago. This beach is said to be among the best beaches on the Gulf of Mexico, and remains completely unspoiled.

Anna Maria Island Towns

Holmes Beach, Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria City

Anna Maria Island is a small Barrier Island on the Gulf of Mexico. Even though the Island is small, there are three cities located on the Island each with different
things to see and do.

Things to do in Anna Maria City...

Located on the Northern Tip of Anna Maria Island, this city is a popular spot on the Island for recreational fun of all sorts.

Spend your day on famous Bean Point, a great spot to watch the sunset with your closest family and friends. You can also hang out near the piers and enjoy
some of Anna Maria Island’s best fishing areas. Anna Maria City is also home to Anna Maria Island’s Community Center.

Bimini Bay is a beautiful spot just off of the Anna Maria City canals, and shared with Bradenton Beach, popular for boating and fishing, or just hanging
your feet off of your own dock from your Anna Maria Vacation Rental.

The Island Player’s Theatre is also in Anna Maria City, right near the water. Spice Sailing Charters, Egmont Key and Legend Charters can be contacted
for more fun
when visiting Anna Maria City.

Things to do in Holmes Beach...

Holmes Beach is in the Middle of Anna Maria Island, and famous for sharing the beauty of both Anna Maria City and Bradenton Beach. Holmes Beach is also
where you land when taking the Manatee Ave W Bridge to Anna Maria Island.

The Island Shopping Center and Post Office are located in Holmes Beach, along with the Chamber of Commerce and the S&S Plaza. You will not run out of
things to do here! Many of the residential homes are here too, probably because the Anna Maria Island Elementary School is in Holmes Beach.

Public Tennis courts can be enjoyed by visitors, and they are close to the water in case you get a work out. You can also get to Key Royale from Holmes
Beach and the Golf Course on the small island. The Public Library and Tourist Information Center are also here, making it a great spot for visitors.

Spend your day enjoying the small and enchanting stores, or stop in for some delicious snacks after your day on Anna Maria Island.

Things to do in Bradenton Beach...

Bradenton Beach is a fantastic spot to start your search for Fun on Anna
Maria Island
. There are many different companies for recreational rentals, and is your gateway to Longboat Key. You can get to Bradenton Beach from the
Cortez Bridge.

One of the #1 things to do in Bradenton Beach is to check out the Historic Bridge Street Pier, where you can enjoy a number of water activities including
fishing and parasailing. You can also head a little south to take advantage of the boat ramps located along the East Side of Anna Maria Island.

Coquina Beach is the best on the Island; you can find it on the south western side of Anna Maria Island in
Bradenton Beach.

What Makes Anna Maria Island Different?

All of our locals and visitors chose Anna Maria Island, but why?

Surrounded by nothing but warm water and soft sandy beaches, Anna Maria Island and the three towns that make up the Island are part of an island-wide program to replenish and protect the coastline from eroding. The charm of the Island is unexplainable, until you feel it for yourself.

Imagine stepping foot on an Island with enough local businesses to serve the community, and not one more. The locals are happy to see you, and the time moves a little slower. Welcome to Anna Maria Island.

The laid-back culture derives from the both the tropical environment, and the cultural richness of the Island. Local governments have worked hard to ensure that Anna Maria Island does not become a large city with tall buildings and franchises in every direction you look.

Because strict zoning laws prohibit high-rise development, the entire island has just two structures with more than three stories.

Come visit Anna Maria Island, and see for yourself. We promise you wont be disappointed!
